FAQ - Voice messages and photos

Voice messages are among the most popular features of the KLOKI watch. They allow simple and secure communication between the child and the whole family – messages are displayed to all connected users in the Findee Kids app. In this section, you will find answers on how messages work, how to send them, what to do in case of technical difficulties, how to send photos from the watch, and how to resolve situations when messages do not display or cannot be played back.

On the KLOKI watch, voice messages function like a family group chat. When a child sends a message from the watch, it automatically appears on all paired devices in the family – for example, to mom, dad, and grandma.

This system ensures that everyone is aware of the communication and can easily respond or join the conversation.

Communication through voice messages is easy and intuitive – whether your child is sending a message from the watch or you are responding from the app.

From the watch to the app:

  1. Open messages
    On the main screen of the watch, tap the Messages icon.
  2. Record a voice message
    Once the messages are opened, a “plus” button will appear for recording.
    Hold it for at least 3 seconds for the watch to properly capture the message.
    During recording, a microphone icon will appear, confirming that recording is in progress.

Sending a message Once you release the button, the watch will automatically send the message. The message will be delivered to all paired users in the Findee Kids app – there is no need to select a specific contact.

Yes, unlimited sending of voice messages is allowed for all types of subscriptions.

In the Findee Kids app, you cannot delete voice messages, but you don't have to worry – they do not take up any space on your phone.

All messages are securely stored on our servers, so your phone remains free and unburdened by data.

If you want to delete voice messages directly from the watch, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings on the watch
  2. Select Memory Tools

Choose Clear Cache

If you are having sound issues, we recommend checking the volume settings on your phone:

1. Open your phone's settings
Go to the main Settings menu on your device.

2. Find the section for sound or volume
Depending on your phone type and system, look for the Sound or Volume section.

3. Focus on media volume
In the volume menu, you will see several types – for example:

  • Ringtone volume
  • Media volume
  • Notification volume

The media volume is important as it affects the playback of sounds from apps, including voice messages from Findee Kids.

4. Set the media volume to maximum Use the slider to set the media volume as high as possible.

Do you feel that your child is not responding to voice messages? Try this procedure:

  1. Open the Findee Kids app on your phone.
  2. In the main menu, select the watch of the child to whom you sent the message.
  3. In the menu, find the "Find Watch" function.
  4. Click the "Find Watch" button – the watch will start ringing loudly.

This will alert the child that they have a new message on their watch.

Messages between the watch and the Findee Kids app may not always work correctly – this can be caused by several factors. To help you as quickly as possible, please answer the following questions:

  • Is the watch connected to a signal (e.g., via 4G)?
  • In which direction are the messages not going? From the watch to the phone, from the phone to the watch, or both ways?
  • Are no messages coming at all, or just occasionally?
  • If messages do arrive, are they empty or do they contain only noise?
  • Do you remember the approximate time of sending the messages that were not delivered?

Messages from the watch should be delivered almost instantly, but this can be affected by:

  • The signal strength of the watch – they work best over 4G.
  • Your phone's connection – a weak signal can delay reception.

If you are unable to play messages, please follow these steps:

1. Try a different device

  • Play messages from the watch on another phone.
  • If they work there, the problem is likely with your phone or its settings.
  • If they don't work anywhere else, continue to the next step.

2. Verify where the problem originates

  • Does the problem only occur with messages from the watch, or elsewhere as well?
  • Try sending a message from the watch to another phone – this will rule out a microphone error.

3. Check the app and system

  • Do you have the latest version of the Findee Kids app?
  • Is your phone (Android or iOS) updated?

You can easily send photos from the watch via the “Messages” app directly on the watch. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Messages app on the watch.
  2. Press the “plus” button (➕) next to the microphone for recording voice messages.
  3. The camera will open – take a photo.

Confirm your selection and the photo will be automatically sent to the Findee Kids app on the parent's phone.

Photos from the watch are sent via the Messages app.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the "Messages" app on the watch.
  2. Click on the plus symbol "+", which will launch the camera.
  3. Take a photo and confirm.
  4. The photo will be sent to the parent app.

If you are unable to send photos from your watch, please follow these steps:

Restart the watch
- On the watch, open Settings and select the Restart option.
- After the restart, try sending the photo again.
