FAQ - Applications and Settings

The Findee Kids app is the heart of the entire KLOKI system – it is where you manage the watches, add contacts, set notifications, and change your child's information. In this section, you will find answers to frequently asked questions about using the app, connecting the watches, editing names, restarting the device, and troubleshooting technical issues. We will also help you with setting languages, notifications, or changing your email. And if something isn't working – you know where to turn.

The contacts are managed by the watch owner directly in the Findee Kids app.
The process is simple:

  1. Open the Findee Kids app.
  2. Go to Watch Settings → Contacts on the watch.
  3. Add names and phone numbers – you can save a maximum of 10 contacts.

After saving the first contact, the watch's phone number will automatically be displayed, which can only be called by the contacts you have entered. You can save this number in your phone (e.g., as Amálka's Watch) and call your child whenever you need.

This way, we ensure that only verified and safe contacts can reach the watch, significantly increasing children's safety.

If you wish to change the email under which you are registered, you need to create a new account. Follow these steps:

1. Delete the original account
In the app, go to Account Management Settings and select the option "Delete Account".

What happens with this step:

  • The watch will be removed from the account
  • All history will be deleted
  • Payment method and active subscription will disappear
  • The account will be completely removed

TIP: We recommend performing the account deletion only after the paid period has ended, so you do not lose access to services.

2. Create a new account
After deletion, re-register in the app using a new email.

3. Re-add the watch
Use the QR code from the sticker on the watch or find it directly on the watch:
Menu > Device > Reg. code

4. Activate the new subscriptionIn the app, select the desired plan and reactivate the subscription.

In the Findee Kids app, you can change the name in two places, depending on what exactly you want to modify:

1. Change the name in the user profile
This name appears with the messages you or your child send.

  • Open the Findee Kids app
  • In the main menu, go to the "Personal Information" section
  • Select the "Name" option
  • Enter the new name and save the changes

2. Change the name of the watch
This name appears in the device list and in messages sent directly from the watch.

  • Open the Findee Kids app
  • Go to Watch Settings
  • Select the "Change Name and Icon" option
  • Enter the new watch name and confirm

The problem may be with the notification settings. Just a few steps and everything will work as it should:

1. Check the notification settings on your iPhone:

  • Open Settings on your iOS device.
  • Find and click on the Findee Kids app.
  • Select Notifications.
  • Make sure the Allow Notifications option is turned on.

2. Check the settings directly in the Findee Kids app:

  • Open the app and click on Messages in the bottom menu.
  • In the top right corner, click on the gear icon (settings).
  • Check that message notifications are not muted.

After these steps, you should receive notifications correctly. If notifications still do not work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Findee Kids app.

Don't despair – just check a few settings and everything will work again:

1. Check notifications on your phone (Android):

  • Open Settings on your phone.
  • Find Apps and select Findee Kids.
  • Open the Notifications section.
  • Make sure you have the option Allow all notifications turned on.

2. Also check the Findee Kids app:

  • Open the app and click on Messages at the bottom.
  • In the top right corner, tap the gear icon (settings).
  • Check that Message notifications are not muted or turned off.

If notifications still do not come after this procedure, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

At this moment, it is not possible to add a real photo of your child to the app. Instead, you can choose one of the cute avatars of our mascot Yetti. These images can be used as a profile picture for the watch and contacts in the app.

How to set a profile avatar:

  1. Open the Findee Kids app.
  2. Go to the Watch Settings section.
  3. Select the option Change Name and Icon.
  4. Choose one of the available Yetti avatars.

All contact management is conveniently done through the parent app Findee Kids. The contacts you add here will automatically appear on your child's watch in the "Contacts" section.

You need the registration code to connect the watch with the Findee Kids app. You can find it in two places:

  1. On the back of the watch
    The code is printed on a sticker directly on the device – usually next to the QR code.
  2. Directly in the watch
  • Open the menu on the watch
  • Go to the "Device" section
  • Select the "Registration Code" option – the QR code and the registration code itself will be displayed

If the sticker with the QR code has disappeared or you don't have it on hand, no problem. The registration code, which is used to connect the watch to the app, can be easily found directly on the device.

Just follow these steps:

  1. Open the Devices menu on the watch.
  2. Select the Reg. code option.

A QR code will appear on the screen, containing the necessary information for pairing with the Findee Kids app.

You can set the language of the KLOKI watch in two ways:

  1. In the Findee Kids app:
  • Open Watch Settings.
  • Select the Language in Watch section.
  • Choose your preferred language and confirm the change.
  1. Directly on the watch:
  • Go to Settings.
  • Click on MoreLanguage.
  • Select the desired language from the list.

If you need to restart the KLOKI watch, you have three options:

Restart via the Findee Kids app

  • Open the app and go to Watch Settings.
  • Select the Reset Watch option.

Restart directly from the watch menu

  • Open the main menu on the watch.
  • Go to the end → SettingsRestart.
  • Confirm the restart and the watch will automatically reboot.
  1. Restart using the button (e.g., when the watch is unresponsive)

Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the watch turns off and starts rebooting.

If your account does not display the watches, please follow these steps:

1. Check which account you are logged into

  • Open the Findee Kids app
  • Go to the "Profile" section
  • Check which email is currently associated with your account

2. Log out and log back in

  • If you are logged in under a different email, log out
  • Then log back in under the correct account to which the watches were originally registered

If you are unsure which email you used during registration, or if you still do not see the watches, please write to us at support@kloki.cz – we are happy to help you.

If you are having trouble completing the registration in the Findee Kids app, please try the following steps first:

1. Check your internet connection

Make sure your phone is connected to the internet – either via Wi-Fi or mobile data. Registration requires a stable network to verify your account.

2. Contact us

If the Findee Kids app is not loading, there may be an issue with your connection or the app version. We recommend the following steps:

  1. Check your internet connection – make sure your phone is connected to the internet (WiFi or mobile data). The app will not work without a connection.
  2. Restart the app – completely close it and then reopen it.
  3. Verify the current app version – check the Google Play Store or App Store to ensure you have the latest version of the app installed.
